William Dennis-Vedock (Tiffany Blue) Co owner and designer for DV Couture llc. At the age of 15 I attended a vocational school where I was taught to sew and design. Costume designing was always a dream of mine, but never in my wildest dreams did i think id sell dresses to men all over the world.
Nicholas Dennis-Vedock also known as Scarlette Monroe Diamond (my boyfriend at the time) and I moved to Florida in 2013 were he decided to pursue his childhood dream of being a drag queen. Before this I knew very little about the art of drag. I began to sew costumes for Nick and my garments started to get attention so I started sewing locally. Together we fell in love with the drag world. Two years later I hit the stage for the first time and became Tiffany Blue. After my first show I sat behind the curtains and said I want to be apart of this world for the rest of my life. Besides all the fabulous glitter, sequin, and rhinestones, I really felt accepted and was encouraged to be myself.
In February of 2016 I made nick my Husbear. When we came home from our honeymoon we decided to pursue my dream and we started to sell our costumes online. Together we run and operate DV Couture from our home in Florida. Before creating DV Couture I was a customer service manager for Joann Fabrics for 8 years and had been sewing drag costumes specifically for 4years. I started selling on Facebook and to my surprise we received a lot of attention fast. After building up enough designs and clientele, In July of 2017 I started actively selling on Etsy.
It has been such an amazing journey with DV Couture. I've met some of the most incredible people around the world and created some amazing friendships! A lot of these girls have become my sisters. We have many goals for DV Couture but the first and most important is to provide quality costumes and excellent customer service everyday.
I am truly grateful and humbled to wake up everyday and be able to do what I love.
